Clayton William Fincham was born Sept. 9, 1894 east of Blue Rapids, KS., the son of William Jr. and Edith Talbot Fincham. He married Martha Pearl Thompson on Sept 12, 1916. They were the parents of 7 children, with one son, Arthur LeRoy, dying in infancy. The remaining children were Merlin William, James Lynn, Vera Mae, Gerald Eugene, Chester Clayton, and Edith Laverne. Clayton W. died Nov. 22, 1965 at Community Memorial Hospital in Marysville, KS. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery south of Home City, KS.
