He was a farmer and has lived at C.J. since 1939. Survivors include: his wife, a son Robert E. Carey, three daughters, Beverly Thomas, Marilyn Stapp, and Shirley Hendrickson; a brother, Keith Carey and one sister Irene Morrison; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; and three great, great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers
