Musa Stocking Barton.
Funeral services were held, Monday, August 12, at her late home, near Hartwick, and at the Universalist church, Flycreek, for Musa Stocking, wife of Leroy Barton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Stocking. The circumstances of her death were peculiarly sad. Could a doctor have been reached her life might have been saved. Her departure from life leaves three little children motherless. She held in a very large degree the affection and respect of parents, brothers and sisters, friends and neighbors. Beautiful were the ministries of life given her to fulfill and beautifully did she fulfill them, as daughter, sister, wife and mother.
