The death of Fred Loomis Stocking occurred Tuesday night at 10:40 o'clock at his home at Fork Shop as the result of a heart ailment and complications with which he had suffered for years.
The son of Andrew Jackson and Elva (Burke) Stocking, he was born July 21, 1875. in the same house in which he died. He never married. A wide circle of friends will deeply regret his passing. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Maude Wicks of Lentsville; two brothers, Vaughn Stocking of Cliffside Park and Lee Stocking of Cooperstown; two aunts, Mrs. Delia Burke of Fork Shop and Mrs. Alice Tuller of Maryland the following nieces: the Misses Mildred, Beatrice and Mnsa of Cliffside Park and Mrs. Elva Close of Ilion. The funeral will be held at the home on Saturday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, the Rev! Arthur W. Mielke, pastor of thc First Presbyterian church of Coopersown, officiating, and burial will be made in the cemetery at Fly Creek.
