GARDINER, Mrs. Eleanor Weston Lewis, widow of Weston Lewis and a life-long resident of Gardiner, died Monday in Winter Park, Fla., at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Theodore Emery.
Mrs. Lewis, the former Eleanor Weston Partridge, was born in Gardiner December 26, 1854, the daughter of Charles and Bridgette Weston Partridge. She was educated in the Gardiner schools and at the Simonds School in Portland.
October 18, 1878, she was married to Weston Lewis, also of Gardiner.
She was active in the Episcopal Diocese of Maine and the House of the Good Shepherd and was of the oldest members of the National Society of the Colonial Dames resident in Maine.
The eldest of three children, Carelton lewis died in October 1918. Mrs. Lewis is survived by a son, Henry Lewis of Portland; a daughter, Mrs. Emery of Winter Park, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Arthur L. Allen of Gardiner; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted later at Christ Church in Gardiner and burial will be in the family lot here.
