Born June 24, 1880 near Plano, she was the daughter of John and Laura Stanley Cole. She was married to Charles A. Fenton who preceded her in death six years ago.
Mrs. Fenton was a member of the Chariton River Baptist Church. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one son, Merritt.
Surviving A.R. Fenton of Moravia, two daughters; Vera Martin of Ottumwa and Flossie Strandberg of Centerville; eight grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Also surviving is one brother, Jim Cole of Karngalt, Nebr.
The body is at the Funeral Home, Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 10 at 10 o'clock at the Chariton River Baptist Church with burial in the cemetery there.
