He was married to Miss Amy Ellen Kniesteadt at Frankfort, KS on May 6, 1929 and two children were born to this union, Donna Florine and William Frederick. Except for a few years when he engaged in business at Barnes, Ks., most of his life was spent farming in Marshall County, KS until 1951 when the family moved to Wichita, KS and he was employed at Boeing Aircraft.
He died Aug. 29, 1957 at Wesley Hospital, Wichita, KS. He was survived by his wife, Amy; daughter Donna and son William; step-mother Mrs. Jessie Fincham, Blue Rapids; half-brother Jack Fincham, Blue Rapids; half-sister, Mrs. Frank Wempe, Sabetha; and his step-brother, Homer Foreman, Manhattan, KS. He was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur LeRoy Fincham in 1916, his father in 1933, and a half-brother, Russell in 1950 and an infant brother and sister.
Interment was in the Marysville City Cemetery, Marysville, Marshall County, KS.
