Died, Oct 1, 1893, at the home of his parents, five miles east of Blue Rapids, after an illness of one week, caused by teething, Clarence, the only child of James and Lillie Fincham, aged 1 year and 20 days. The funeral services were held at the school house 6 miles north of Marysville and the baby's remains were laid beside those of Mrs. Fincham's mother in an adjoining burying ground. The family desire hereby to express their thanks for the kindness and sympathy of friends in their bereavement.
Hail, hail, my sainted boy
White robes and palms are thine
I would not call thee back to me
But I, by grace, shall go to thee
And thou shalt still be mine.
