Benedict, who had been a Madison township resident most of his life, died unexpectedly early today at his home in nearby Unionville. He was 69 years old. "Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth; two daughters, Miss Alice Benedict of Painesville and Mrs. Eva Goddard, stenographer at the county board of health office; a son, Arthur Benedict of Avon Lake; a brother, Albert Benedict, of Iowa, and three grandchildren. "Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Behm funeral home and burial will be in Fairview cemetery at Madison. "Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday.
