Ann Branine, 73, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, at her home in Hays.
She was born June 21, 1937, in Larned, to Theodore and Manduie Young Collins. She graduated from Coolidge High School.
On Nov. 25, 1954, she married Wayne Eugene Branine in Syracuse. He preceded her in death as did a son, Gary Branine, and her parents.
A former resident of Lakin and Coolidge, Mrs. Branine moved to Hays in March 2010.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Branine of Woodward, Okla., and Ron Branine of Hays; a sister, Lewanna Enslow of Lakin; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral was today at the United Methodist Church in Lakin. Burial was at Lakin Cemetery.
