Iona was born December 16, 1932, in Zook, KS, and had lived in this area since 1955. She was a secretary for Klahn Real Estate before retiring. She and her husband retired to the Lake of the Ozarks, where they were members of Climax Springs Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Ted Collins; and daughter Carolyn Collins.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Dean Ditmars of the home; daughter Patricia and her husband Bill Klinkenberg of Lee's Summit; brother, Leroy Collins of Hugton, KS; sisters, Ann Branine and Lewanna Enslow, both of Lakin, KS; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren."
