Marie was 62 when she died Monday, April 18, 1983, at the Baptist Hospital in Memphis. She was a licensed insurance agent. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Junior Auxiliary, the Republican Women's Club and a former member of the Pilot Club and the Eastern Star.
