Maud Ethel (Pontius) Boyer, was born October 12, 1902, and passed away January 27, 1990. She was married to Samuel Albert Boyer in 1922.
Following the death of both of her parents in Ohio, they came to Albuq. in 1925. They made their home in the Five Points area since 1937. She was a long time member of the Five Points Community Church. Samuel preceded her in death in 1982.
She is survived by her three sons, and their families: David E. Boyer and wife, Zella, their children: Sandi Fairchild, Janice Tedford, Catherine Kitterman, Mark Boyer and Kent Boyer, all of Albuq.; Carl Albert Boyer and wife, Viola, of Ranger, TX and his daughter, Cher Moore of Albuq.; Marvin Emory Boyer and wife, Dixie, of Phoenix; Susan McXett of Woodbndge, VA, and Richard Boyer of Sheridan, WY; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers were her grandsons and great-grandsons: Mark Boyer, Everett Kitterman, Wayne Tedford, Chris Fairchild, David Fairchild and Lawson Moore.
Honorary pallbearers were Paul Boyer, Richard Boyer and Jeff Fairchild.
