Samuel Yeates Expires Monday

Samuel W. Yeates, age 73, , died at the Reid Memorial Hospital in Richmond. He had been in failing health several months and in the hospital about a week. Mr. Yeates if a former resident of Rush County having farmed here for a number of years. Recently he had been residing with a daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Miller, 1911 North D Street in Richmond. The deceased was born in Decatur County on April 12, 1874. His wife, Mary, preceded him in death 13 years ago.

Survivors include three sons, Roscoe of Richmond, Oliver of Wabash, and Walter Yeates of Salem, Indiana. Four daughters, Mrs. Tressie Smith of Dayton, Ohio, Mrs. Bessie Bickett of Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Saide Ferguson and Mrs. Lloyd Miller both of Richmond. One half brother, Oliver Garrison of Rushville and 11 grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services will be held at the Moster Mortuary Wednesday morning at 10:00 o'clock conducted by Riley Wilson. Interment will be made in East Hill Cemetery

Friends may call at Moster Mortuary after noon Tuesday.
