Dublin – Word has been received her on the death October 14, in Marshalltown, Iowa, of Lewis F. Jamison, 85 years old, former Dublin resident. Mr. Jamison had been residing with his daughter, Mrs. Mary Suttle, in Marshalltown for the past year and a half.
Born in Peppertown in Franklin County, Mr. Jamison was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Jamison. He was married to Jessie E. Cordell in April 1910 at Hagerstown.
Survivors include four daughters: Mrs. Suttle and Mrs. Carrie Roberts, both of Marshalltown, Ia; Mrs. Marguerite Lockwood, and Mrs. Hester Clinger, both of Dublin; three sons, Lewis, Dublin; Paul of Connersville; and John of Cambridge City; 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
Services for Mr. Jamison were held Saturday in the Avey Funeral home in Marshalltown. Burial was there.
