Anderson Daily Bulletin - January 8, 1960

Clay Henry Garrison, 86, 1405 Meridian Street, died at 11 am Thursday at Sanders Nursing Home.

Mr. Garrison was born April 1, 1891 at Rushville and had spent most of his life in Anderson. He was a retired employee of the National Tile and Manufacturing Company.

Surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. Maxine Walker, R.R 6, Anderson and Mrs. Margaret Potter, Cabazon, Calif; two sons John C. Anderson and Clifford, California; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and a brother, Oliver Garrison, Rushville.

The body was taken to the Brown and Butz Funeral Home where firends will be received after 7 pm Sunday. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Wayne Thompson, pastor of the Irondale Church of God, officiating. Burial will be in the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
