Services for Jerry "Little Mac" McDuffie Bolen, Jr., 60 will be held eleven a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2006 at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church with Reverend Floyd Dukes officiating. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Folk Funeral Home, Williston and one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the Savannah River Cancer Foundation P.O. Box 3694, Aiken, SC 29802. Mr. Bolen died on Thursday.
Born in Barnwell County he was a son of the late Jerry McDuffie Bolen and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Sanders Bolen. "Little Mac" was self-employed having worked in Construction, farming and truck driving. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Crosby Bolen of the home; daughter and son in law, Michelle Bolen Harvey and Chris of Blackville; sons and daughters in law, Timothy Mack Bolen and Carol of Williston and Henry McDuffie Bolen and Melinda of North Augusta; sister, Brenda Bolen Morris; brothers, Edward, D.H. "Byrd", Bates, Norman, Ronnie Bolen; eight grandchildren, Cindy, Brooke, Ashlyn, Grant, Reid, Natalie Bolen, Christopher and CarolAnn Harvey.
