Funeral services for Ronnie A. Bolen, 66, of Williston, SC will be held two p.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017 in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel, Williston, SC with the Reverend Floyd Dukes officiating; burial will be in the Williston Cemetery. The family will receive friends from one p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Ronnie passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.

Born in Barnwell County, he was a son of the late Jerry McDuffie Bolen, Sr. and Elizabeth “Lizzie” Sanders Bolen. He was a self-employed carpenter, avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Long Branch Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Juliette C. Bolen of the home; daughters Jeannie L. Bolen, Gail Warner both of Williston; son Frank Lewis (Andrew) Bodiford of Barnwell; grandchildren Heather Cora Stanley, Scott McDuffy (Dustie) Stanley, Juliette Nicole Warner, Chuck Ruffy Atkinson, Christina Raby, Ray Wesley Cling; great grandchildren Daniel, Cayden, Zavanah Stanley, Zaylen Stanley, Tristian Waddell, Jason Caleb Waddell; sister Brenda B. Morris of Williston; brothers Milledge Bates (Penny) Bolen, Sr. of Williston, Norman M. Bolen of Barnwell; sisters-in-law Bonetta Bolen, Dot Bolen, Carolyn Bolen; a number of nieces, nephews and his best friend Puddin.

He was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law Essie B. (Sam) Hair; brothers, Edward S. Bolen, D. H. “Byrd” Bolen, Sr., Jerry “Little Mac” McDuffie Bolen, Jr., Henry McDuffie Bolen, Jimmy Bolen; a grandson Ronnie Justin Stanley and a brother-in-law Cleveland “Cleve” Morris.
