"Lucy Frances "Fanny" Clark Allen was born in Fulton County, Kentucky on Jan 24, 1860, the daughter of William Calvin Clark and Harriet Gray. Fanny married Thomas Calvin Allen, Civil War Veteran, in Fulton, KY on Sept 18, 1877. Thomas died on March 19, 1899 and Lucy "Fanny" applied for a widow's pension on May 4, 1912. Pension was granted to her in July of 1912. Lucy "Fanny" died in 1939 and is buried at Fairview Cemetery in Fulton, Kentucky".

**It is not known where her husband Thomas Calvin Allen is buried. Notes in the widow's pension file of Fanny Clark Allen indicate that witnesses stated he was mysteriously murdured in Puragould, Arkansas, but that his home was in Kentucky at the time of his death in 1899.
