He was married to 6 wives throughout his long life and was the father of 26 children with only 22 known to the family. Charlie was a member of First Baptist Church and retired after years from being a Veterinarian. He was survived by his wife Estell Howard.
Many of his children passed on before Charlie's death and many went on to live longer lives. As of 2010, two children are known to survive; the two youngest of Estell's and C J's.
According to his obituary; at the time of Charlie's death he had 100 grandchildren; 50 great grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
The one wife I wasnt able to find burial of is Miss Myrtle Henderson, married 9/23/1924, Henry County, Tennessee
