She was graduated from the Springview High School and attended Cotner University at Bethany, Nebraska one year. While there she united with the Christian Church. For 18 years she taught school in Keya Paha County.
June 5, 1930, she was untied in marriage to Oliver H. Arnett at Bassett, Nebraska. Both united with the Methodist Church soon after their marriage, and Bassett has since been their home.
She lived a happy Christian life, beloved by those who knew here. She took an active part in church work and taught her Sunday school class regularly every Sunday before her death.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Oliver H. Arnett and foster daughter Darline Sage of Los Angeles, California; one sister Sylvia Wentworth of Long Pine, Nebraska; three nephews, Aubrey Wentworth of Springview; Norris Wentworth of Evant, Texas; Artice Wentworth of Mills, and one niece Vada Hawthorne of Alpena, South Dakota; other relatives and many friends.
