Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 4, 2000, at Holland & Barry Funeral Home in Lincoln, with the Rev. Larry Maffett officiating.
A committal service will be Tuesday afternoon at the Ebenezer Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Galatia, and burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery, Galatia.
Mrs. Parks was head of dietary services for the Beason Community School system for 25 years.
She was born Oct. 1, 1919, at Herrin, a daughter of Arthur L. and Pearle (Johnson) Cluck. She married Lilburn Cowgur in Missouri on Aug. 30, 1941. He died Dec. 15, 1974. She married Paul Eugene Parks at Beason in August 1977. He died Jan. 27, 1990.
Surviving are one son, Lawrence F. Cowgur of Mahomet; one daughter, Mrs. Catherine Randolph of Magee, Miss.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Flossie Anderson of Thompsonville, Carrie Ogden of Zeigler and Geraldine Galbraith of Galatia; and one brother, Donald Cluck of Galatia.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Audrey Wright, and one brother, Forrest Cluck.
She was a member of the Beason United Methodist Church.
Memorials may be made to her church.
