Arthur was born to Melinessa Jane Braden "Miley Jane" and George Washington Cluck, Sr. This was G.W.'s second wife and they had the following children: Melissa A.; Clarissa J. (Patterson) 1875-1971; Dora L.; Arvice Clarence; Mary I.; Cora A. and Arthur L. Arthur married Pearl Johnson on 6 Jun 1907 in Hamilton County and they had the following children: Audrey Helen, Flossie A.;Carrie Jane; Forrest; Roberta, Geraldine and Donald Eugene. They also adopted and raised their grandchild Patty. Uncle Arthur & Aunt Pearl were known for their generosity to all family and friends throughout the valley.
