PANHANDLE (HC) - Services for Amelia Dittberner Lill will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the First Christian Church of Panhandle with Rev. Ivan Potts, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Panhandle Cemetery under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lill, 86, died late Sunday in High Plains Baptist Hospital of Amarillo. She was born Feb. 3, 1892, in Sibley, Ill. and came to Panhandle in 1911. She married Walter Lill in 1913, and the couple moved to a farm five miles southeast of Panhandle, where they lived until the present time.

In 1938, Mr. and Mrs. Lill were named master farmers of Texas in District 1 of the extension service under a program sponsored by Progressive Farmer Magazine.

Mrs. Lill was a charter member of Friendship Circle Home Demonstration Club, a former president of the Panhandle PTA and a member of the Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband of the home; two daughters, Mrs. R.L. (Helen) Gilkerson of Panhandle and Mrs. Budd (Margaret) Smith of Channing; one brother, Eddie Dittberner of White Deer; two sisters, Mrs. Amanda Hanneman of Rockford, Ill., and Mrs. Selma Rainey of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Mrs. Weldon Grisham of Panhandle and Michael Ray Gilkerson of Portland, Tex., and two great-grandchildren.

The family has asked that memorials be made in the form of donations to favorite charities.
