Son of Edward Losee Moore and Ethel May Burwell Moore. Brother to: Herbert Edward Moore (1923 - 1979), Raymond Moore (1925-?) and Elizabeth Moore Knapp (1927 - 1989). Edward Moore was married to Irene Puzewska on March 11, 1949.Edward and Irene had 7 children. Daniel Edward Moore, John Joseph Moore, Edward Moore Jr., Constance Irene Moore, Martin Thomas Moore, Robert Allen Moore and Michael John Moore. Edward was a tractor trailer driver with a local delivery area that made sure that he was home every evening. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 445. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Stony Clove Rod and Gun Club, located in Lanesville in the Catskill Mountains, for many years. In his later years he was afflicted with Diabetes, which ran in his Family on his Mother's side. (Ida Shurrager Burwell Goodenough) On Jan 6th, 1997 he died of Congestive Heart Failure secondary to Diabetes.
His nickname "Buff" was short for Buffalo where he spent some time visiting. His nieces and nephews called him Uncle Buff.
He had another nickname given to him by his Mother Ethel Burwell Moore, she called him Manny because he was her little Man. Later his wife Irene used this name for him as well.
He was not Catholic by faith but claimed that he was Episcopal. His body rests in St. Joseph's Catholic Church Cemetery where his wife and their son also rest.
