Daughter of Konstanty Puzewski and Josephine Kurzynska Puzewska. Sister to John Thomas Puzewski (1914-2005), Justin Albert Puzewski "Cookie" (1915-1956) and Edna Jadz Puzewska Hrenyo (1921-1988). She married Edward Moore on March 11, 1949 at the rectory of St. Joseph's Church in Poughkeepsie, New York. They were the parents of seven children Daniel Edward Moore (1949-), John Joseph Michael Moore (1953-), Edward Moore (1956- 2008), Constance Irene Moore Andrews (1959-), Martin Thomas Moore (1961-), Robert Allen Moore (1968-) and Michael John Moore (1975-). Irene loved taking trips to Hunter Mountain for the Summer festivals, especially the Polish Festival. She also enjoyed going to the flea markets, fishing, and spending time with her family.
