Died: a Galax hospital∼Funeral services for Mrs. Loretta Lineberry Crowder Alley, age 70, Rt. 1, Austinville, who died Friday in a Galax hospital, was held Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Reese funeral Chapel. The Rev. Dale Frazier and the Rev. Eldridge Sharpe officiated with interment following in the Bethany Cemetery.
She was born in Carroll County, daughter of the late Thomas A. and Lucinda Stovel Lineberry. She was a member of the Shorts Creek Church of God and a member of the Austinville Senior Citizens.
She is survived by four daughters:

Mrs. Hubert (Allison) Grimm,
Mrs. William (Leona) Jackson, both of Max Meadows
Mrs. Wayne (Patty) Harmon, Woodlawn;
Three sons:
Alfred Crowder, William Douglas Crowder, Orgeon, and Howard Crowder, Dublin;

Mrs. Everett (Ruth) Warf, Woodlawn,
Mrs. Flossie Roberts, Max Meadows,
Mrs. Hattie Jones, Galax;
