Ernest A. Lineberry
Ernest Addison Lineberry, 82, died August 27 at his home on Route 4, Galax.
He was born July 27, 1898 in Carroll County to Thomas and Lucinda Stovall Lineberry.
Surviving are his wife, Orpha Lineberry; three daughters, Josie Gibson and Nina Burnett, both of Galax; and Icie Burnett, Fries; five sons, Gleaves, Gilmer, and Phipps Lineberry, all of Galax; Burgess Lineberry, Hillsville and James Lineberry, address unknown; four sisters, Hattie Jones, Galax; Ruth Warf, Woodlawn; Laura Alley, Austinville and Flossie Roberts, Max Meadows; three brothers, Hastle and Howard Lineberry, both of Galax; Ted Lineberry, Woodlawn; 29 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 30 at 11 a.m. in the Vaughan - Guynn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eldridge Sharp and Billy Burnett officiating.
Interment was in Monta Vista Memory Gardens.
