Hattie Viola Lineberry Jones, 82, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 1992, at her home on Rt. 4, Galax.
She was born in Carroll County June 18, 1910, to Thomas Allen Lineberry and Lucinda Stovall Lineberry. She was the widow of Clifford C. Jones.
She is survived by two daughters, Una Lee Jones, Galax and Faye Rutherford, Woodlawn; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas M. and Cridla Jones and Roger W. and Velma Jones, all of Galax; a brother, Ted Lineberry, Woodlawn; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Nov. 12 at 11 a.m. in the Hebron Church of Christ, conducted by Winfred Bowers, Sammy Burnette, and Billy Burnette.
Burial followed in River Hill Christan Church Cemetery.
Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
