He was born on Feb 2, 1924, in Page County and was a son of the late Benjamin C and Mabel Hilliards Seal.
Mr. Seal attended Page County High School and received his GED after returning from the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II. He was a member of the Gooden Brothers VFW Oist 9292, the Furnace United Methodist Church and the Jr. OUAM in Elkton.
He was a carpenter and retired from the Carpenters Union No. 388 in Richmond.
On Aug 25, 1961, he married Vivian Davis Seal who survives.
Surviving in additon to his wife are a son, Larry Wayne Seal of Harrisonburg; three brothers, Wayne Raymond and Charles Seal, all of Shenandoah; two sisters, Barbara Seal of Shenandoah and Bertha Hensley of Elkton; one grandson and one step grandson. He was preceded in death by a brother, John H Seal and two sisters, Eva S Davis and Margaret McCoy.
Burial was in the Elk Run Cemetery with military rites by the Gooden Brothers VFW Post 9292.
