Coyle Brice Hill was the son of Jesse R Hill and Mary Emma Pigg. He was a cabinet maker and carpenter most of his life. He worked in oilfield construction for Standard Oil throughout Texas and the Deep South in the 1930s. He also worked for the Civilian Conservation Corp during the depression. He was the married to Cecil Gay Jones and had four children, Dorothy G Hill, Eddie B Hill, Ray K Hill and Coyle B. Hil, Jr.

He built cabinets in the 1950's and 1960's in Houston, Texas and ran a small saw sharpening business as well.

He was a good provider and a loving grandfather.
