Mrs. Fred L. Barnes, 86, a former resident of Adams County, died at her home in Palm Beach. Fla.. June 22-
She was the former Ellen Jane Oyler. daughter of the late George C. and Jane E. Taylor Oyter, of Arendtsville.
A graduate of West Chester State College, she formerly resided in Pittsburgh where she was a member of the East Liberty Presbyterian Church.
She was a member of the Charity Guild and Women's City Club before moving to Florida. She was a member of the Lake Worth Golf Club and of the Founder's Circle of the West Palm Beach Garden Club.
Her husband died in 1965.
Mrs. Barnes is survived by one sister. Mrs. Earl E. Miller. Carlisle; five nieces and seven nephews.
Funeral services were held in Lake Worth. Fla.. today.
Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery. Arendtsville at the convenience of the family
