Mrs. Jane Ellen Oyler. 77, wife of George Oyler. died at her home in Arendlsville, Monday evening at 9:15 o'clock, of complications, following seven weeks illness.

Mrs. Oyler was the oldest daughter of the late Leonard and Saville (Knouse) Taylor, and was bom in Menallen township, and always resided in the vicinity of Arendtsville.

She is survived by her husband and six daughters. Mrs. Ida K. Hoffman. Pittsburgh: Mrs. Annie B. Hoffman, at home: Miss Blanche A. Oyler, Harrisburg; Mrs. Harry Boerum. Wobum. Massachusetts; Miss Ellen J. Oyler. Pittsburgh; Mrs. Earl E. Miller, Carlisle: three sons. Harvey J. Oyler. Gettysburg route 5; George C. Oyler. McKnightstown route 1. and William L. Oyler. Arendtsville. Thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild, one sister. Mrs. Lincoln Warren. Wenksville, and four brothers, Daniel Taylor. Paul Taylor, Henry Taylor, all near Wenksville, and Jacob Taylor. Arendtsville, also survive.

She was a life-long member of the Lutheran church.

Funeral services from the home Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, the Rev. George B. Ely officiating.

Interment in Fairview cemetery. Arendtsville.
