Juliette E Day Binns was born to Andrew Craig and Betsey M Spoor Day in Franklin, Dover Co. NY. The family located to Buchanan, Berrien Co. MI in 1836 (among the first settlers in the town while Indians still encamped around them).

She would marry Benjamin Eastburn Binns, son of Joseph P and Anne Dixon Binns the 13 August, 1851 in Berrien Co. MI. Benjamin, along with his family, were born in Yorkshire England. Julia and Benjamin were the parents of Andrew Frank Binns (1868 - 1928), and daughter Nannie L Binns Hickey (1864 - 1930). An infant, Charles S (1855-1856) and Joseph D (1852-1862) would pass at an early age.

Benjamin was a merchant in Buchanan, served in the Civil War with the Co. C Michigan 12th Regiment Cavalry. They lived in Muncie, IN, KS and lastly, Oklahoma City- operating grocery and mercantile stores in the various cities, sometimes with his brother, Zebulon.

Julia, then a widow, passed away as a result of a stroke at the home of her daughter She and Benjamin are buried in the Day Family plot at the entrance to Oak Ridge Cemetry. Andrew, who owned a plumbing company, remained in Oklahoma City. Nannie L Binns Hickey passed away after May 1930 in Los Angeles, CA.
