Lucy Madaline (Scroggins) Moore, of Wright City, OK passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Memorial Heights Nursing Home, Idabel. She was born March 15, 1924 in Harris, Okla., the daughter of Sam and Mamie (Young) Scroggins.
Lucy was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God, Wright City where she taught Sunday school for 30 years. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She en-joyed cooking, camping, hunting, fishing and during her younger day she loved to ride horses.
Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Mamie (Young) Scroggins; husband, Horace Moore; son, Sherrill Moore and Grandson, Scotty Moore.
Lucy leaves to cherish her mem-ory two sons, James (Jim Ed) Moore and wife, Brenda, Valliant and Curtis (Rabo) Moore and wife Jeanetta; daughter-in-law, Dianne Moore, Wright City; six grandchil-dren, Pam White and husband, Marty, Wright City, Kelly Moore, Idabel, Monford Moore, Valliant, Russell Moore, Gillham, Ark., Bill Moore and wife, Misty Moore, Wright City, Rosco Moore, Wright City; great-grandchildren; Brandy and Spencer Watts, Amanda and Jeremy Perry, Blake Moore, Macy Moore, Riley Moore, Mike Moore; three great-great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Kaeson McCullough and Boisdarc Perry; two sisters, Mary Francis Byrd, Wright City and Betty Scroggins, Salt Lake City, Utah; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday February 7, 2009 at the First Assembly of God, Wright City. Interment will follow at Sla-ter Memorial Cemetery at Wright City. Bro. Randy Watkins will officiate, Bro. Brad Jones will as-sist.
The family welcomes friends to Lucy's home in Wright City at any time.
