This is James Thomas "J.T." Scroggins, son of Samuel Henry and Mamie Edna Young Scroggins. Sam was my great uncle so J.T. is a 1st cousin, 1x rem. If you'd like to put him with family I'll take him. I can fill in a lot of connections on his memorial. He's on my tree. I didn't know all those Scroggins kids as Sam had a lot of kids. I knew Mary Frances "Frankie" - his sister. She died a few years ago and I got to meet her by phone several times before she got cancer and died. Her daughter is Bonnie Hamm and I'm sure you know her - in Wright City. She now rents out Frankie's house. Calls it a B&B. She's family but my few dealings with her have not created family love. I can tolerate her but I have lot's of folks in McCurtain Co. I love and don't just tolerate. Both my parents were raised there so I'm kin to most of the county. Whatever you want to do with J.T. is fine but I'm willing to add info to the nice obit you found. Thanks for that Brandon. There were a lot of Scroggins who went to CA.
