SCROGGINS RITES ARE CONDUCTED

A former Wright City native, S. B. "Barrett" Scroggins, 74, was to be buried today at Mendota, Calif.

Scroggins, born at Wright City and raised in the county, moved to California in 1947. He was in the Marine Corps during World War II.

Survivors include a son, Jeff, Mendota, Calif.; one brother, Ben Scroggins, Broken Bow, and five sisters, Rita Fobbe, Lucy Moore and Frankie Byrd, all of Wright City, Sue Pruitt of Westminister, Calif., and Betty Robbins, Ogden, Utah.
