Burial was in the Rayville Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Brown-Holley of Rayville.
Mrs. Ponder died Wednesday, January 19, 1994, in the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe following a long illness.
She was a member of the Archibald Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters and two sons-in-law, Willie and T. C. Boyer of Bastrop, and Joy and Garland Storey of Arcadia; three sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Frances Ponder of Rayville, Jimmy and Glenda Ponder of Waskom, Tex., and Johnny and Nadine Ponder of Sneads Ferry, N.C.; a sister, Mrs. Audie Mae Rashal of Gilbert; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
