William E. Cloke Died Tuesday March 4, 1980 at Beyer Memorial Hospital. He was Born December 19, 1925 in Munising, MI the son of William and Josephine B. (DeGarie) Cloke. Mr Cloke was a native veteran of WWII. serving in the Atlantic Theatre.

He married Joyce Novotny, January 29, 1944 in Ann Arbor and she survives. He worked at Associated Springs and Motor Wheel Corp, retiring in February 1978. He was a member of St Alexis Catholic Church. Surviving besides his wife are three sons; William R. and Michael D. both of Ypsilanti; Patrick A. at home. three daughters; Mrs Ropbert (Judy) Denike of Ypsilanti, Joy Cloke at home; and Mrs Larry (Janice) James of Ypsilanti. three grandchildren; five step grandchildren; four sisters, Eva Forester of Bradenton, FL; Mrs Alfred (Dorothy) Curtiss of Osseo, MI; Mrs Claude (Mary) McPherson of Milan, MI; and Mrs James (Katherine) Scott of Ypsilanti, MI several nieces and nephews also survive. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert F, and two in infancy and one granddaughter, June James in 1975. A scriptural vigil service will be 8:30 P.M. Wednesday at the Moore Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Father Robert Burroughs officiating. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 A.M. Thursdayat St Alexis Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Friends may call.
