Maude Lyon Haines formerly of Plano, died at Golden Age Center Dec. 30, 1985. She was born Nov. 6, 1886, near Plano, the daughter of Edwin Wayne and Catherine (Bear) Lyon. She lived most of her life in Appanoose County. On Dec. 30, 1915 she married Walter Haines & they lived and farmed in the Cincinnati & Plano area.
She was a member of the Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 4 brothers Ira, Harry, Jay & Art, and 4 sisters Esther, Nell, Mary Alice and one who died in infancy.
Survivors are one brother, Fred of San Diego, Calif., Nieces and Nephews in Oregon & Wisconsin & one great nephew Edwin Lyon of Wayland, MO.
Services were held at the Miller-Wehrle Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Ballard officiating.
Burial in the Crossroads Cemetery.
