ARLINGTON — Letha G. Compton a homemaker died Friday December 4,1998 at an Arlington hospital.
Funeral: was 2 p.m. Monday at Donnelly's Colonial Funeral Home. Burial was in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Letha Gertrude Compton was born September 11, 1919 to Archie and Maudie Stapp Redwine in Sydney, Texas. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her son Kenneth Gene Compton, her parents, Archie and Maudie Redwine, three brothers, Odis Theron Redwine, Willis Doyle Redwine and Audra Gale Redwine.
Survivors are her husband, Harvey Compton; sons, Richard Lee Compton and wife Pat, and Bobby Joe Compton and wife Peggy; daughter Judith Lynn Seay; brother Leverett Redwine; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
