COMANCHE ~~ Funeral for Mrs. Maudie B. Redwine, 81, of Comanche will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Commanche Funeral Home Chapel with Church of Christ minister, Clarence Bryant officiating. Burial will be in Pendergrass cemetery.
Born December 25, 1887 in Brown County, she had lived in the Comanche area the past 50 years. She was married December 25, 1904 to Archie W. Redwine in Sidney. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, Doyle of Comanche, Leverett of Long Beach, California and Audra of Colorado City; two daughters, Cleo Shurtleff of Brady and Letha Compton of Irving; three sisters, Mrs. Pearl Henderson of Colorado City, Mrs. Mentie Beaudion of Los Angeles, California and Mrs. Cora Caffey of Sidney; two brothers, Lloyd Stapp of Midland and Ernest Stapp of Comanche; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
