Services for Cleo Shurtleff, widow of John Shurtleff, were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Colonial Funeral Home in Brady, with the Reverend Ray Ash officiating. Graveside services were at 3 p.m. in the Colorado City Cemetery with the Reverend Glenn Roenfeldt officiating.
Cleo died Monday at an Austin hospital.
She was born in Sidney, Texas to Archie and Maudie Redwine. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Claudine Fay Shurtleff, and three brothers, Theron, Doyle and Audra.
Survivors include three sons, Wilburn Shurtleff of Richardson, Louis Charles Shurtleff and Robert Houston Shurtleff, both of Austin; one brother, Leverett Redwine of Long Beach, California; one sister, Letha Compton of Arlington; and one granddaughter.
