She was born on July 17, 1921 in Mount Vernon Kentucky to the late Leander and Ona Mae McKinney (Sowder).
She was a homemaker and will always be remembered for her wonderful cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Bosserman; children, Virginia Biggerstaff and Donald Ray Pruitt; brothers, RS and Mark McKinney; sisters, Alma Rowe, Pauline Decker and Arnella Alcorn.
She is survived, by her children, Verla Hooker (Dennis) and Charles Ronald Pruitt (Carol); step-daughters, Sheila and Beverly; brother, Luke McKinney; sisters, Freda Alcorn, Pearl Childress and Nadine Phelps; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great- grandchildren; and her faithful companion, Pudge.
Graveside services were Saturday, June 16th, at Floral Park Cemetery, located at 3659 Cossell Road, Indianapolis Indiana 46222.
