Mary (Chiavara) Pagano, 84, of Fairmount, passed away peacefully Monday at Van Duyn Home and Hospital. Born in Solvay, she was a graduate of Solvay High School. She was an assembler at Autolite in Syracuse for 10 years, and later went to work at Williams Importing in Fairmount as a cashier for 10 years. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Anthony, in 1998. Surviving are two sons, John M. (Deborah) Pagano, of Camillus and Gary T. (Beverly) Pagano, of Cleveland, Ohio; two sisters, Theresa Buda, of California and Assunta Luckette, of Fairmount; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services and burial are private. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at BAGOZZI TWINS FUNERAL HOME, 2601 Milton Ave.
