Conzano Chiavara
Solvay resident

Conzano Chiavara, 70, of 209 King Ave., Solvay, died yesterday at his home.

A native of Italy, he resided in Solvay 54 years.

He formerly was employed at Solvay Process Division, Allied Chemical Corp., retiring after 47 years of service.

He was a communicant of First Christian Assembly Church, a member of the 40-Year Club of Solvay Process and the United Mine Workers Union, District 50.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Carmella Demperio Chiavara; three daughters, Mrs. Anthony J. Pagano of Fairmount, Mrs. Frank Buda of Greenville, Pa., and Mrs. John Luckette in California; a son, Carl Chiavara of Camillus; eight grandchildren, a sister in Italy and a brother in Argentina.

Services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the Bagozzi Twins Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. in First Christian Assembly Church, the Rev. Alfred Palma officiating. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.

Calling hours are 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow.
