Funeral services for Mrs. Leona H Heath, 81, a former resident of West Liberty and Nichols, will be held on Friday at the Snider Funeral Home, West Liberty. Mrs Heath died Tuesday evening at the Fairhaven Nursing Home in Moline, Ill., following an extended illness. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Laurence Carlton. Burial will be in the Oak Ridge cemetery. Visitation will be this afternoon and evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Heath was born July 23, 1892 , the daughter of Louis and Augusta Miller Hintz. She married Jodie Heath in 1913. She and her husband farmed in Muscatine county most of their lives. She was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving are two sons, Robert of West Libery and Richard of Milan, one sister Miss Mattie Hintz of Nichols; eight grandchildren, one step grandchild, and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five sisters, three brothers and one grandson.
