Mr. Heath was born April 15, 1926, in West Liberty, Iowa, the son of Jodie and
Leona Hintz Heath. He married Evelyn Ramsey March 4, 1963, in Rock Island.
He farmed in the West Liberty area, retiring in 1974. He was employed as a
custodian for 15 years with the Davenport school system, retiring in 1989, and
for two years at Casino Rock Island.
He was an Army veteran.
He enjoyed traveling and camping.
Survivors include the widow; a daughter and son-in-law, LuAnn and Jeffrey
Steen, Davenport; sons and a daughter-in-law, Paul Heath, and Jack and Sherry
Lorenzen, all of Davenport; six grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Maxine Barnes,
Moline; and six nieces and nephews. His brother, Richard Heath died April 20
