Richard J Heath, 72, of 1718 155th Ave, Millan, formerly of West Liberty, Iowa, died Wednesday, April 20, 1994, at Trinity Medical Center, East Campus, Moline. Services are 1:30 pm Monday at Barker Funeral Home, West Liberty. Burial is in Oak Ridge Cemetery, West Liberty. Visitation is 4 to 8 pm Sunday. Memorial fund has been established.
Mr Heath was born Jan 31, 1922 in West Liberty, the son of Jodie and Leona Hintz Heath. He married the late Rosetta Ludeman June 25, 1943, in Muscatine. He farmed in West Liberty, Lone Tree, and North English area for several years and most recently was an auctioneer and antique dealer. He was a member of Iowa Illinois Auctioneers Associaion. Survivors include daughters, Linda Schultz, Williamsburg,IA, Rita Bunnell, Moline, Judy Yoder, Browns Summit, NC, and Melody Van Dee, North English; sons Charles Heath, Iowa City, IA, and Dennis Heath, Dulzura, California; a stepdaughter Cathy Drowns, Cedar Rapids, IA; 17 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Heath, Davenport, and a special friend, Gloria Quist, Milan.
