Bobby L. Wells
Bobby L. Wells died Friday, July 04, 2003 at his home in Starkville after being diagnosed with lung cancer April 24, 2003. He owned and operated Wells Firestone, Inc. from 1968 through 1988. Services were held at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville on Sunday, July 06, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. with burial following in Enon Cemetery in Ackerman. Rev. Randy Impson and Rev. Carnell Daughty officiated. Survivors include, his wife of 43 years, Edna Wells of Starkville, daughter, Jan Wells of Ridgeland, and sister Martha Sebren of Madison. He is preceded in death by his son, State Trooper Bubba Wells, his parents, two brothers, Billy and Paul Wells, and two sisters, Sara Catledge and Jean White. Memorial may be made to Calvary Baptist Church 405 North Jackson Street, Starkville, Mississippi, 39759 or to a preferred charity.
